Kapi-Hutt Regional Champs Saturday 20 March 2010 Lower Hutt Town Hall APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN for the Kapi-Hutt Regional Champs 2010. A fabulous time was had by all last year. It was awesome to have the hall full of dancers and supporters from all over the country having a blast. We have already had loads of interest from all around New Zealand, as well as locally, so it is again shaping up to be an event not to be missed.
All five of the usual Classical Freestyle competition categories are available to choose from. There are also five Fun Events (yes you could do them all!) and the usual outstanding Showcase categories available: Advanced Open Showcase, Teams and Doubles. These are all offered for competitors, all you have to do is fill out the entry form and tick the relevant boxes! There is a category to suit everyone. Enter one, enter two, enter all you can! Get on the floor and get dancing! Designed for fun and excitement this competition is the perfect event for both the seasoned competitor, and those completely new to the whole experience alike.
There will be an Ice Breaker party on Friday night the 19th of March for some mixing and mingling with dancers from both in and out of town! So grab a pen and get your entries in as soon as possible, as there will be limited seating on the main competition floor. Earlybird entries are available until 19 February 2010. All other entries must be received by the close off date of 5 March 2010.

Myles and Tessa will be performing during the Champs event and will teach Performance moves, Tricks and Aerials Workshops on Sunday 25th.
The MC for the night is Dancing with the Stars champion Aaron Gilmore, Aaron will also be performing during the night with dance partner and fellow Dancing with the Stars professional, Nerida Coertese!
